Smooth and round from the start, with aromas of plum, cassis and cola. In the mouth, there's cherry and more cassis, and as a whole it's downright tasty. On the back side, the finish is firm and chocolaty, with good tannins. After tasting many a mediocre Pinot Noir from this Eugene-based winery, this flavorful if one-dimensional Cabernet is a revelation. Only 150 cases produced.
