Substantial and muscular, still quite tight and unyielding, this grudgingly displays purple fruits in a mix of roasted coffee beans, clove and black olive. If past releases are any indication, this will continue to evolve and expand as it gets a bit more bottle time. || Dusted Valley puts out a number of Syrahs, with this being the first to be released from each vintage. Young and grapey, it's got good fruit flavors, with suggestions of plum and berry. The tart acids bring a wash of citrus that lifts the finish. ||…
