Erath is on a single-vineyard crusade; the number of different bottlings is downright dizzying. This particular vineyard, just outside of the town of Dundee, produces a relatively soft wine, spicy with pine needles and herbs, and finishing with a distinctly metallic note that flattens out the flavors.
