This opens with aromas of underbrush, violet, black cherry, plum and allspice. The palate is austere at this stage but it still offers sour cherry and crushed raspberry accented with notes of black pepper, espresso and sage alongside tightly packed tannins and brisk acidity. Drink after 2022.
