This is dark but somewhat green on the nose, with currant, raspberry, beet and green herb aromas. The palate feels tight to the point of abrasive, with herbal plum flavors. A minty, forceful finish registers as hard and tannic. || Full, minty aromas come with freshness and don't overpower. The palate is spunky and offers grabby charge, while wild berry, mint and peppery spice are the main flavors. Dark and warm as it finishes; not a shy wine.
