Paso Robles-based Alma Sol reaches into Napa Valley for its Cabernet, with good results. The wine is dry, full-bodied and smooth, with rich flavors of blackberries, currants, dark chocolate and spices. Nice now, after a good decanting, and it should develop bottle complexities over 5–6 years.
