The nose isn't very expressive, but subdued aromas of black currant, espresso and a whiff of Mediterranean herbs eventually unfold in the glass. The palate offers dried black fruit, espresso and a pepper note alongside astringent tannins that leave a mouth-drying finish. It's shy on freshness, so drink sooner rather than later.
