Wiry on the nose, with herbal, punchy, slightly strained red fruit aromas that suggest rhubarb. The palate is amorphous and standard, with lightly baked, mildly stewy blackberry and herbal flavors. On the finish, it's pure tobacco, chocolate and coffee. Syrah, Carignan, Carmenère and Petit Verdot.
