The texture is off, resulting in a rustic feeling, despite lush flavors of raspberries, figs and sweet, toasty oak. Mainly the problems are jarring tannins plus alcoholic heat on the finish. || Bright acidity brings a mouthwatering tanginess to flavors of ripe raspberry, cherry, cranberry and mushroom in this dry, low-production wine.
