Earthy flavors emerge first and have an aromatic hold over the entire wine. The bubbles seem to carry even more earthy tones, but the freshness in the center is lemony and bright. This balance of light and dark tones offers a moody aspect to the wine—perhaps it would be better as a winter apéritif than a summer freshener. || While this is a nonvintage wine, it is still very young and will benefit from time in bottle.
