Cherry, blueberry and vanilla are weaved together to create a solid nose with delicate balances between fruit and oak. In general, the nose is not as lively as other wines from this vintage but many of those wines lack this ease and approachability. Dusty, firm tannins suggest a pairing with lamb shanks and garlic roasted potatoes.
