This wine demonstrates the strength of Red Mountain, even in a cool vintage. The aromas of cocoa, cranberry, cherry and black licorice offer pleasing nuances, while the tart cranberry flavors show elegance and restraint, with chalky tannins backing it all up. The acid balance is spot-on. Just a baby now, it has its best days in front of it.
