Here's a newly released Barolo that appears older than it actually is. The wine's ruby color shows a browning edge and aromas here reflect tertiary tones of balsam, drying mineral and licorice. In the mouth, you'll get iron-like flavors backed by fine, drying tannins. Don't wait too much longer to drink this wine.
