This bruiser of a blend is Petit Verdot dominant, with Merlot and Cabernet Franc in the background. Initially tight on the nose, after time dark plum, black currant and warm spice notes emerge. The broad palate is silken in feel, supported by a solid grip of ripe tannins. Juicy red-fruit flavors work hard to lighten things up on the palate, leading to a black pepper finish.
