Give this Cabernet high marks for sheer lusciousness. It's ripe in blackberries, black cherries and currants, with a veneer of sweet oak. Not a longterm ager, so drink over the next five years. || A near twin to the excellent 2006, and as ageable. It's a big wine, but immature, with scads of blackberry and cherry jam fruit, smoky new oak and stiff tannins. Give it eight years to let everything mellow together, and it should hold until at least 2020.
