A superb wine, showing real Oakville character. It's bone dry, rich and complex in tannin structure, with wonderfully ripe blackberry and cassis flavors. Yet there's a minerality that anchors the wine, and the finish is long, smooth and spicy. Just delicious now, and should hold over the next six years.
