A single-vineyard wine from land high in the dramatic Jonkershoek valley, this is an intriguingly perfumed wine that still shows a fine sense of structure. The fruit is certainly ripe—it is 14.5% alcohol—but that is lost in the balance with acidity and fine black currant flavors. || Chocolate, cigar leaf and plum fruit aromas lead to a big, full-bodied wine with great balance and plenty of ripe tannins.
