Fairly big and full-bodied, but not overoaked or overripe, so you get true plum and red-berry flavors, some of Carmenère's herbal side, and a solid finish that offers good spice flavors and proper tannins. Sometimes simple is better, and this wine's no-nonsense approach is what works.
