Orange marmalade, lemon meringue and warm melon aromas open this wine from the cool Templeton Gap area southeast of Paso Robles. The flavors show off the brighter elements of the grape, with caramelized pear giving way to slate in the midpalate and a nicely bitter finish of orange peel.
