The steep Cazetiers vineyard is among the best of Gevrey's Premier Crus. This is a robust wine that can take all the wood thrown at it and still come back tasting of sweet plums and fresh raspberries. The tannins, with their smoky character, shine right through the heart of the wine. || Licorice, black cherry and spice fit comfortably together in this big wine. Flavors of stone fruits along with dry tannins and ripe acidity combine to give a solid wine that will age. Lay this aside for five years.
