This was another solid version of the modern Dolcetto, showing dark fruit, spice and a core of plum jam. The tannins need a year or so to become civilized, but overall this is a versatile wine that will be very food friendly. || Here is a ripe Dolcetto d'Alba with mature aromas of raspberry, strawberry and cherry syrup.
