Although it starts out with woodsy scents, this blend turns sweet in the mouth, with jam tones gliding over a base of fruit liqueur. Velvety tannins firm up a bit on the finish, making this a good partner for barbecued pork. Drink up. || A relatively new wine in the Yalumba stable, the Scribbler evokes a blend of cherries and cassis, with almost floral herb and tea nuances.
