Aromas of violet, chocolate, woodland berry, leather and a whiff of meat juices lead the nose on this full-bodied wine. On the palate, juicy black cherry and crushed raspberry take center stage while accents of espresso, cedar, white pepper and menthol play supporting roles. It's balanced with bright acidity and assertive tannins. Drink 2016–2022.
