The pride of Peique, this warm-vintage Bierzo is power-charged on the nose, with smoky, woody aromas of baked berry fruits. Layered, intense, chewy and integrated on the palate, this Mencía tastes like licorice and baking spices blended with black cherry and plum. The finish is dark and full, but lively. Drink through 2021.
