Collin Cranor is a young, eager winemaker looking to make his mark in the Livermore Valley and this wine shows off his skill and ability to work with great fruit to make an interesting wine. Savory, this Petite Sirah has classic notes of chocolate, cherry and berry, though it benefits from a bit of air and time to open. Try it with meaty dishes; if they include bacon, all the better.
