A hot, rather brutal wine. High alcohol combines with high, hard tannins to make for a real textural challenge, despite interesting cherry, licorice and Canadian bacon flavors. Drink now. || Grown in the Happy Canyon section of eastern Santa Ynez, an area that one of these days will be an official appellation.
