Made from a blend of native grapes Nero d'Avola and Frappato, this opens with aromas of toasted oak, coffee and black fruit. The robust palate delivers blackberry, vanilla, espresso, oak and cinnamon. || The cherry and blackberry-driven nose of this attractively ruby-colored wine is offset by Band-Aid or animal notes that disturb an otherwise pretty picture. On the upside is the wine's crisp mouthfeel. Imported by Ionia Atlantic.
