Dark pink in color, this off-dry wine is as soft as the velvet in its name. Strawberry dominates the flavor, along with attractive acidity and a smooth, round texture. A wine for apéritifs. || Superripe Pinot Noir and a high dosage have produced an off-dry wine that both rich and well balanced. Soft and creamy, with a hint of smokiness and a final tang of crisp red currants, it is a fine apéritif style of Champagne.
