Tough and tannic now, although it's fully dry, and the tannins are finely sculpted. Shows deep flavors of blackberries, currants, cocoa and spices. There's a hint of funkiness that may detract from ageability. || Smells weedy and tastes feeble, with acids and tannins starring and overpowering the fruit. There's a suggestion of vegetables.
