Lots of zippy acidity perks up the cherry candy and butterscotch flavors of this Merlot, making it delicious. Despite the overt fruit, it has layers of minerals and dried herbs that lift its complexity. Drink now-2015. || Very rich and classically structured, a wine that shows real Merlot personality. The red cherry, cola, red licorice, sandalwood and peppery spice flavors are almost Pinot Noir-like, except for the tannins, which have the weight of Bordeaux. Should develop through 2012.
