This begins well, with full-flavored mixed stone fruits. Then it dips into a bit of a midpalate trough, climbing back out into a lightly toasty finish. Perhaps decanting would help to fill out the middle. || This is eastern Oregon Syrah, a completely different (and to my taste, far superior) style than the better-known southern Oregon Syrahs.
