A good show of restraint with ripeness, this wine by Mike Sinor conveys green olive, dark herbs, clove sticks, pencil lead, Kalamata olives and peppery raspberry on the nose. It's lithe and savory once sipped, with more black and purple olives, Bing cherry fruit at the core and a distinctive pencil-shaving minerality toward the finish.
