At first impression, this wine seems a bit less ripe than its single-vineyard siblings. A hint of tomato in the nose gives an herbal edge, and there is more than enough tart acidity under the light red fruits. It's clean and refreshing, with tasty raspberry fruit, but does not show the density and detail of the other 2012 vineyard designates.
