Grown from a block in the famous Hirsch Vineyard, this Pinot shows the difficulties of the cool vintage. It's too acidic. You'll find sour cherry candy and cranberry flavors, with an oaky influence and a delightfully silky texture. But the tartness seems destined to mark the wine for the rest of its life.
