There's tremendous black-fruit density present on the first whiff of the wine, with olallieberry jam and milk chocolate dusted with clove powder, yet also a graphite-driven lightness. The palate rides the line expertly between ripeness and tartness, with fresh boysenberry flavors and dried oregano, altogether excellently spiced.
