A touch reedy and rooty on the nose, but it settles to offer plum and berry aromas and complexity. Feels saturated and jammy in the mouth, with sweet, powerful berry flavors that show candied sweetness and herbal accents. Sweet on the finish as well, with caramel and toffee flavors. Superripe and intense. 250 cases made; drink now through 2014.
