A beautiful Pinot Noir, lilting, refined and utterly delicious. Testarossa stumbled with the '04, but otherwise their track record is great, and the '06 is right up there with the marvelous '05 and '03. The wine's cherry, licorice and smoky oak flavors are captured in a rewarding texture of silk and satin. || You'll want to give this pretty Pinot some time in the bottle, to let it mellow out.
