Enhanced with polished notes of toasted nut and vanilla (the wine sees 12 month of barrique) this is a more austere Pinot Nero with delicate nuances of spice, blue fruit and white mushroom. The fruit comes from a high-density vineyard planted in 1991 with clay and rocky soils. || This excellent edition of Krafuss (an oak-aged Pinot Noir from Italy's pioneering bio-dynamic winemaker) opens with vibrant aromas of small berries and toasted nut that emerge in a vertical and immediate manner.
