Tart in acidity, and bone dry, this young Pinot has exotic and complex flavors of cola and cherries, with tannins from the bitter skins and a touch of smoky oak. It's very finely constructed, but the tartness is insistent. May mellow in the bottle. || Here's a dark, rich, somewhat heavy Pinot Noir, of the type sometimes referred to as Rhône-like.
