Berry, hickory and milk chocolate aromas yield smoky darkness with candied sweetness. The palate is staunch, but those chocolate and berry flavors hinted at up front reappear and finish in medicinal fashion. A sweet and creamy wine but also one that's hard and tannic. 70% Cab with 30% Syrah. || Oaky stuff, with sawdust, roasted fruit and dark, floral berry aromas.
