It's rare to get a twenty buck Pinot Noir this good. The wine is dry, silky and elegant, almost faultless in its precision. With savory cherry, red licorice, cola and sandalwood flavors, it's not an ager, but a very pretty wine for drinking now. || Nicely balanced, with cedar, mint and cherry notes presented in a medium-bodied format. It's on the crisp side for Napa Cabernet, with red fruit and chocolaty oak combining on the slightly tart finish. Drink it over the next few years with steak and be happy.
