Not often do you find blends of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenère. And it's been a while (1999) since we last tasted it; this version is ripe, a bit hard and very, very serious. The nose has complex olive, cassis and herb aromas, while the balanced but raging palate is ripped, tannic and fully acidic. Drink now, but with food.
