Light and taut, this blend from Nuits-St.-Georges, Volnay and Pernand-Vergelesses offers an odd combination of elements. There are bright cherry-kirsch aromas, cherry and earth flavors and a nice mouthfeel sporting a chalky note. But there’s also an odd, candied edge to the fruit and a touch of greenness.
