Made with 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo and Colorino, this medium-bodied red opens with aromas of black-skinned fruit, licorice, wet earth and a whiff of toast. The firm palate offers black cherry, ripe plum, espresso and clove alongside fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity. Drink through 2018.
