A bit of berry, raisin and spice on the nose lead into a red sparkling wine that offers body, structure, sweetness and acidity on the palate. Do the earthy flavors of Cabernet marry well with acidity and zip? It's somewhat tricky. The wine overall has trouble with harmony, though the berry, spice and wood flavors are good.
