A deep, almost-black color goes right to a ruby rim. Aromas suggest dark chocolate and coffee bean and the flavors are concentrated, saturated and delicious, like blackberry and blueberry pie—except nicely dry. This full-bodied wine coats the sides of the mouth but stays velvety and lingers on the finish.
