Everything about this Syrah works. It's dry, crisp in acidity, elegantly tannic and, above all, superbly drinkable, with subtle but powerful cherry, currant, cola, bacon and sandalwood flavors. Feels delicious and important, with a bit more weight than a Pinot Noir.
