This is very ripe, with jammy blackberry and cherry flavors that have a touch of plumped raisin and even a touch of milk chocolate. It's technically dry, but all that richness lends it unctuousness. || The pedigree of this Syrah is top-notch. The vineyard was planted by one of the owners of the fine Cabernet house, Surh Luchtel, and one of the winery's co-owners works at the von Strasser winery.
