A dark, plummy Livermore Valley Merlot that reminds one of herb-encrusted roasted meats, and would be a good wine to pair with such a feast. Full-bodied and lush, with a smoky, oaky finish and cedar lurking throughout. || This Merlot features noticeably soft, supple fruit, tasting of red plum and dark cherry, with mellow, sweet tannin. Still, the wine has a big presence and a wall of structure around it, the finish laced with cedar.
