Toasted oak dominates everything in this Viognier, which features charred wood, buttered toast, butterscotch and vanilla aromas and flavors. The fruit is pretty buried. || Opening with gorgeous aromas of pear, fig and mineral-laden melon and vanilla, this substantial Viognier also manages to stay fresh, vibrant and fruity, a bite of preserved lemon lifting off the finish.
